Andrew Rossos Revisited 2

Andrew Rossos(one more propagandist that use Greek name) as is obvious he likes to search British documents that mention the supposing "Macedonian" identity in the first half of 20th century and specially in the Greek Macedonia. As usual he forget to mention to remark the events regarding the Yugoslavian Macedonia and most important.....the ethnotical past of the Slavs

During the inter-war years, the region - forming 'Southern Serbia' and, after 1929, part of the Vnrdorska Banovina-was treated by Belgrade as part of Serbia and its Slav population as Serb. Yet the national allegiances of the region's 600-700,000 Slavs remained far from clear Lets see what the British quoted as abouts Slavs in the Bardar region in 1941.

A British study group succintly put it in the aftermath of Yugoslavia's occupation by the Axis powers as follows:

the Morava valley and much of Macedonia (i.e. pre-war Vardarska Banovina) in particular were inhabited by Slavonic populations of an intermediate ethnic character, which could become specifically Bulgarian or non-Bulgarian according to whether they were incorporated in a Bulgarian or non-Bulgarian state.

The Bulgarian occupation, which followed the Nazi invasion in April 1941, helped demonstrate that neither the communist position for a separate 'Macedonian nation' nor the idea of a Yugoslav Federation had had any serious effect among the Slav population at large. In fact, the Bulgarian troops were greeted as 'liberators' and pro-Bulgarian feeling seemed to prevail during the early stage of the occupation.

Who confirm the above quote?

a British document of course.............

It is generally admitted that the entry of Bulgarian troops into Macedonia was welcomed by the mass of the population as a prelude to national liberation. ..
Disillusionment soon followed, as it became clear that Bulgaria cared as little as the Serbs for the national aspirations of the Macedonians. ...
But the false hopes with which the Macedonians had started continued to colour their outlook for some time to come, and rendered the growth of the partisan movement there of peculiar difficulty. Macedonia, it was felt, had already been 'liberated' by the Bulgarians; how then, could the insurrectionary movement sweeping over Serbia bring national liberation to them?
If the Macedonians grew discontented under Bulgarian rule, they sought to better their lot by a struggle for social, not national, resurgence. The first Macedonian insurgents formed themselves into units which they called National Detachments, not National Liberation Detachments, as elsewhere in Yugoslavia. They formed their committees, too, but these were National Committees, not National Liberation Committees.
When they chalked up their slogans on the walls of the houses in Skoplje and Bitolj, one would see not the customary 'Death to the Invader', but more often 'Down with the Filov Government'
.

Two british documents that not written from a captain (Evans is known what was the opinion of him from the supervisors as about the strange relationships with the automomistic NOF) but reports that had as final receiver the British Ministry of Defence.

Of course today the British policy is tottaly diffrent regarding the Macedonian issue.
Cyprus is the cause!!!!

  1. Akritas your thesis is f.. bullshit brother. You should definitely check the people from Macedonia how they called themselves in immigration documents.. "race or people" as "Macedonian" apart from "Bulgarian" "Greek" "Servian".. "Turk" and other races/ethnicity.
