You have ...Carol,

I love it, really love it! LOL

You have said it so eloquently, I like your style!iconoclastnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38098280.post-7548083315308169452009-09-30T19:24:30.459+03:002009-09-30T19:24:30.459+03:00Oh really Anonymous @ September 30, 2009 4:40 PM, ...Oh really Anonymous @ September 30, 2009 4:40 PM, there were many peoples from many different ethnicities who were exposed to the Hellenic culture and were subsequently Hellenized, although Alexander the Great was definitely NOT one of them, since he was an indigenous Hellene (Greek) by birth, and therefore by definition did not need to be Hellinized, since he was a Hellene. The logic is really quite straightforward and simple, even a Slav should be able to understand this, or as it appears maybe not for a Slav (they like to create their own pseudo versions of history.)

Furthermore, Megas Alexandros (Alexander the Great) clearly and with no forced imposition placed on him spread his own culture, that being, amazingly enough, the Hellenic culture from Alexandria in Egypt and all the way right-up to the Punjub of India.

You Slavs really fail to realize and accept this very basic fact. This is not my belief. This is based on fact, firmly seated on a plethora of objective historical evidence from the Ancient Greek Macedonians, themselves, other Greeks, and foreigners, which shows with zero equivocation that they are Hellenes (Greek) and dripping with Hellenismos (Greekness.) Period. No Slavic stuff anywhere to be found, not one iota!

Yet you and your fellow Slavs continue to deny the above, merely drives a rational individual to conclude that you people exhibit a clear case of cognitive dissonance. Well you're going to have to deal with it, because the facts aren't certainly going to change to fit your deluded idea of the world. Deal with it, and get over it, and then get and embrace your Slavic life. You are Slavs, we Greeks are Macedonians.

You're fallacious assertions that we Greeks attempt to make non-Greeks into Greeks is more disingenuous BS. It is the Slavs that want to make themselves Greek by attempting to pretend that they have some historical connection to the Ancient Greek Macedonians, rather than your ludicrous and entirely unfounded pseudo-garbage opinions founded on hot-air.

You Slavic people must really hate who you are, to have to go to these extremes to manufacture your pseudo-identity and try to think that you can sell yourself to the rest of the world as being something that you are definitely are not.

You are Slavs, you are NOT Macedonians.

We Greeks are Macedonians, as we are Athenians, Thebans, Corinthians, Thessalians, Cretans, etc. - you get the picture, it's really quite simple, really, truly.

For the Wikipedia reference, it is relevant because it contains discussions from the man himself, Antonio Arnaiz-Villena, on the Talk page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Antonio_Arnaiz-Villena) so you can get more of a feel on what he is on about. As I said before, it's very revealing.iconoclastnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38098280.post-29474880247322607702009-09-30T19:08:32.009+03:002009-09-30T19:08:32.009+03:00Oh, dear. But they were NOT Greeks.
Greeks were an indigenous tribe just as the North and South American Native Indians were indigenous tribes.
The political correctness of making non-Greeks into Greeks is insulting and racist.
Antonio Arnaiz-Villena is a paid consultant and will make any study fit what you want (read his works in journals if you can find them)- just a note to those who are unfamiliar with his work. Just don't rely on Wikipediacrap folks as your only source of history or knowledge.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38098280.post-62773586893599142862009-09-30T12:57:54.734+03:002009-09-30T12:57:54.734+03:00For interested parties to gain an appreciation of ...For interested parties to gain an appreciation of the crack-pot nature of Antonio Arnaiz-Villena, I refer you to his Talk page on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Antonio_Arnaiz-Villena) where he personally has commented.

In reading through the comments it is quite revealing. One will soon understand that this foolish individual appears to involve himself in making all many pseudo-scientific assertions and conclusions within many and varied fields.

It appears that anything that this guys (Antonio Arnaiz-Villena) pontificates about can be safely ignored and categorized within the cohort of crack-pots.

The scientific community does not take him seriously at all.

The Slavs using Antonio Arnaiz-Villena are just emphasizing that they are the butt of all jokes, they live in a fantasy world and anyone that can cogitate quickly sees through their BS.iconoclastnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38098280.post-52675547440605691362009-09-30T12:20:24.035+03:002009-09-30T12:20:24.035+03:00Aldred di Genis below from the "post a comme...Aldred di Genis below from the "post a comment" box there is a little box that write "comment as...."

In the right of this little box there are some options as regards the identity that you wish to appear. There is no need at all to respond defensively when someone, anyone, disparages our collective identity and historical continuity. To do so only suggests doubt and insecurity. Humour and bemusement are often the best responses to ignorance and aggression.Alfred di Genishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10749751984852302959noreply@blogger.com
